Fighting For Justice Banquet
The fighting for justice banquet is currently cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. We will update you when more information is available.
For the last twenty-four years MALSA has held an annual banquet honoring an individual or organization that works to advance the cause of justice for the Hispanic/Latino community. The Fighting for Justice Banquet (FFJ) is held in the spring semester and it draws the attendance of numerous judges, attorneys, students, and dignitaries from across the state of New Mexico.
MALSA plans to start a scholarship for incoming 1L students who do not qualify for Federal Student Aid. MALSA would be the first UNMSOL student organization to do so, and with your help we can make it happen!
This year’s Banquet will also feature a cocktail hour, live music, and a silent auction.
